The Miss America Organization (a not-for-profit organization) provides young women with a vehicle to further their personal and professional goals and instills a spirit of community service through a variety of unique nationwide community-based programs.
Meet the ladies who make it happen in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
Executive Director: Kyle Grinnage
Kyle is an Independent Executive Director and National Senior Trainer for a national anti-aging skin care company.
In her role on the NBC12 Miss America interview preparation panel for Miss Virginia, Kyle has worked with Tara Wheeler, Katie Uze and she is proud to have helped prepare Caressa Cameron, Miss Virginia 2009, to win Miss America 2010.
Kyle has held many leadership positions, including the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She has served on numerous boards, including the parents’ board of the Richmond Ballet. Currently, she serves as the national Chair of the W.H.O. Foundation Advisory Board, the Chair of the Chesterfield County Public School’s Technical Education Advisory Council and is a trustee of the Chesterfield County Education Foundation and serves as a high school mentor for the Mega Mentor Program.
Director, Princess Program: Linda Thomas
Linda is Vice President, Business Development Consulting for Right Management, the global career expert. Linda has more than 15 years helping organizations successfully link business strategy with human capital solutions. As a trusted advisor, Linda works with senior leaders and executives across multiple industries; with public and private, national and global organizations. Her specific focus includes business impact and strategic advisement in the areas of: Talent Management, Career Management, Leadership Development, Succession Management, Talent Acquisition, Coaching and Assessment.
She is past President of Midlothian Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., a member of the National Association for Female Executives, National Association for Professional Women, and MEGA Mentors organization. Linda is excited to be working with the Miss Chesterfield program and most particularly with the lovely young ladies in the Princesses Program.
Director, Teen Program: Stacy Elizabeth Lee
Stacy is an associate attorney with Harrell & Chambliss LLP is a native of Richmond, Virginia. Stacy focuses her practice in the areas of civil and criminal litigation. Prior to joining Harrell & Chambliss, Ms. Lee practiced criminal law both in private practice and as a Public Defender for the City of Richmond, Virginia.
Ms. Lee is the current President of the Hill-Tucker Bar Association, and serves as Secretary of the Old Dominion Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Lee also participates in many civic and community organizations, including serving as Mentor Coordinator for the College of William & Mary Richmond Alumni Chapter and 13th Circuit Representative for the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Virginia State Bar. Stacy also participates in several ministries within her church.
Since Stacy began her involvement with Miss Chesterfield, she enjoys watching the young girls find and embrace their inner and outer beauty. As a mentor to the young ladies, Stacy’s motto in life is Knock, Knock Again, Knock Harder, Knock Until A Door Opens.
